NBA wanted to create a unique shop-in-shop experience for their licensed merchandise in select Champs Sports locations—Toronto, the Bay Area, and San Antonio—using local team colors to unify the space and help it stand out in a crowded retail environment. I worked with another designer to create a modular system that could be customized for each market, keeping in mind the different store sizes and ever-changing inventory. I collaborated with the vendor to design custom shelf covers and displays that were easy for store employees to use. Once everything was ready, I helped manage the installation at each store, making sure the space became a go-to spot for fans looking for that must-have Curry jersey.
